Contest rules

1. Each participant can start from this day and through to 30. oct, submit drawings / paintings for the competition. The title of the drawing / painting is to be «Watercolours - Sandnes in a new light».

2. It will be possible for each school / kindergarten to submit a total of 10 drawings and/or paintings. The pupil's advisory will pick out the drawings / paintings that are to be submitted. Privately, each child may send one contribution. Children in kindergartens may make common drawings / paintings to submit together.

3. The drawings / paintings are to be submitted to Sandnes kommune, kommunalteknikk. The drawings / paintings will be scanned and published on www.watercolours.no. Maxmium size of each contribution is A3. Remember to attach a description of the motive and the name and address of the artists.

4. By submitting the drawing / painting, the contributer confirms that he or she is the drawing / painting rightful owner and artist. The artist also agrees that the drawing / painting may be used in any way by the township of Sandnes.

5. The water colour images will be added to www.watercolours.no and be subject to public judgement (on a scale from 1 to 5)and the township of Sandnes will use this as a rough sorting for the competition. A jury will select the best contribution each half-year and then the best contribution of the year will be chosen

6. The township of Sandnes reserves the right to use the contributed material on their own website at their own convenience. The township also reserves the right to edit contributions that are uploaded
